I have worked as a counsellor for many years and I am very passionate about the work that I do.
When I was growing up I always enjoyed supporting people around me by listening to how they were feeling. This was something that has always stayed with me and so I decided to train as a counsellor.
I have worked with many people from all walks of life and have come to understand that no matter who we are, or where we are from, we all have troubles from time to time in our lives. I am also part of the LGBTQIA+ community.
The therapy that I offer is flexible; I am trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Transactional Analysis, mindfulness and existential therapy.
Using these techniques in a safe, non-judgmental and confidential space I can offer you a caring, considerate and friendly, empathic environment in which you can safely explore any issues, thoughts or feelings that you may wish to bring. This can help further understanding, highlighting a way forward and leading to personal growth.
I also have several years of experience working with a wide range of complex issues including sexuality, addictions, abuse, anxiety, bereavement, relationships, and stress.
I work in accordance with the BACP ethical framework and have regular supervision to ensure I can offer you the best practice.
